Hello,
I recently installed version 1.0 doing a clean install. I have noticed several issues that I really dont mind as they are cosmetic ( like not updating the newest players name on the index ) but the problem that is bothering me is the fact that YoM dosent work properly. You have the ability to compose a message, but that is as far as it gets. Once you send the message, it disappears. I have the YoM settings to allow a message of 500 in size, 100 messages in inbox and not to delete old messages for 15 days. The sent message dosent go anywhere, not to the addressee, not even into the SQL database. ( I exported my entire db and did a search for strings in the mail ). If anyone else is haveing this problem and was able to fix it, let me know how, if not lets see if we can figure out a solution.

Thank you in advance,
LoneWitch

YOM is working on a clean install for me.

I don't know what might be going on in your case, but I doubt there is a general problem with YOM.

Thank you for the rapid replys. I guess I will try backing up my users, dumping the database and doing yet another clean install. The thing that I dont understand is that when I was running pre-14 YoM worked fine. The problem started occuring with the 1.0 release. On a different topic, I am also still having the problem with the newest resident updating. Oh well, I will try the re-install and see if that helps.

Thanx agin,

Newest resident

That may actually be a fix

Someone (xchrisx?) Requested that the newest member not be shown on the login page as people make vulgar names and then its just sitting their for the worl to see.

this may be part of the fix you are experiencing

Thanx for the idea but this isnt the case.
There is now an option to turn it off and on as of v1.0 as far as I can remember. It was displaying the name, the problem was it wasnt updating it as people joined.
