Anyone know of any sites with lists of modules to download? Or is this the only site?

I have considered hosting more files on mine.... I guess if the developers wanted to, they can create and account and submit their modules for download (file target would be where your download is now), and I would approve them.  That would allow for file descriptions and what not......  But I don't want to try and track them all down myself and add the downloads.

I debated a similar idea for DragonPrime, but didn't want to have to approve all the downloads to begin with, and even more so I wanted the authors to have full control over their files.

As I've mentioned before, I'm waiting for the portal/forum software's next version before attempting to create a full-featured file sharing mod for use here, but if anyone is interested in creating one (to my specifications), the help would certainly be accepted  Wink

MSN Groups automatically sends out a "What's new in XXXX" email to group members.  If nothing has changed during the week (no posts, etc), no email is sent.  But if there have been new posts or membership changes, that email is sent.  I've got around 16 such mails from the lotgd group in my inbox, the most recent being dated March 27th... Exactly. Sent to Members, not spam.

Also that group is just .9.7 version and refers people to this group for .9.8.xx version.

 No problem, already done.

With MSN groups it is optin only and only after you sign up for a passport.
So noone is in that did not knowingly join.
And anyone can unjoin with 2 or less clicks of the mouse.

It is True anyone can send invites.  Just as with this site.  or with any email program.

And just as with this site, there is no guarantee that the members have ethics.
Though with the MSN groups a strict code of conduct that They  enforce.
Plus I do remove those who may be questionable.

That group was started because of the closure of sharing at sourceforge and was and is for the admins of .9.7 version sites.

I wouldlike to be removed as well. I quit Gold a while ago, and the emails aren't much, but they get old after a while. same with any spam.

Hi, you were not in the group, so no worries there.

As for LotGoldD, you account expired.
