This module is intended to prevent users from camping at any level and amassing large fortunes.  After a set time at any given level, if the player has more than the allowed gold, they are taxed at a rate which increases daily.

Gold is calculated using gold in bank and gold in hand.  Taxes will not be deducted lower than the allowed gold setting.

Configurable settings:
  • Number of days at a level before being taxed
  • Maximum 'free' gold before taxes are deducted
  • Maximum gold per level before taxes are deducted
('free' gold and gold per level are mutually exclusive)
  • Daily tax increase (defaults at 2%)

Seriously, I'm going to install this module.  I'm having a bit of trouble with balance.  I have turns set fairly high (25 or 30) and some players are saying the early levels are too easy.  I've seen people hit level 4 in a day with some luck.

Yet, other players are complaining the higher levels are too hard, and they can't get enough money to get new armor, let alone heal.
