Can someone please explain this setting to me.... I know what it is for, but not how it effects the extra turn on perfect fights.

I had a user today get an extra turn killing something 2 levels below him... he was still on the Isle Of Wen, but this shouldn't happen. I have my "Minimum level perfect fights give extra turn" setting set to 2 instead of 3 like it is on install because I thought lower numbers meant it was less likely to happen... but I am pretty sure now I just have no idea how this setting works.

Anyway to make the extra turn on perfect fight a random thing, like only 50% of the time or something. Basicly I only want the extra turn granted for perfect fights on same or higher level once in a while. Possible?

I know that most people just set it to level 18, and it works just the way that they want it to.

I've played on various servers, and gotten extra turns from flawless fights on all of them.

Wouldn't setting it to 18 completely disable the feature?

That is the point ^_^

Having that setting set to 18, will only allow for Flawless Fights to occur on levels higher than that of the user.

Thanks Sichae, I will try setting it to 18.

Only on level higher than your own... what if you wanted it at same level and higher? 18 still work?

Thanks Sichae, I will try that.

Let's take a look at the code:
Code:
}elseif ($session['user']['level']>=getsetting("lowslumlevel",4) || $session['user']['level']<=$creaturelevel){
         output("`c`b`\$You receive an extra turn!`0`b`c`n");
         $session['user']['turns']++;
      }else{
         output("`c`\$A more difficult fight would have yielded an extra turn.`0`c`n");
      }
Basically, if my level is greater than or equal to the setting, I get the turn. Thus setting it to 18, would cause for it to only happen if my level is less than that of the creature.

Should work that way. ^_^

The reason to set to 18, is to negate the first clause, so that it can never happen.

I have mine set to 16, which I believe is also what the Central server is using.

Anything that is above an achieveable level, is fine. If it was a float setting, you could set it to 15.0001, and it would still work. ^_^
