Ok,

I am almost 100% certain this is a "too many mods" issue. Basicly when I get to a certain amount of mods, if I add/activate another one, no matter what it is I get a "The page cannot be displayed" error on pref.php and newday.php

Do I need to up my script size in php.ini? Is there anything else I can do about this besides that?  I really wanted to add the specialty and race additions, as well as houses, but I just can't add them all without the dreaded "The page cannot be displayed".

Any ideas?

I would suggest increasing the memory limit in your php.ini. I have mine set at 64MB (which may be overkill), but it seems to do the trick for me. That's one suggestion anyways.

A lovely little line

Code:
php_value memory_limit "16M"

in my htaccess file fixed me all up Tongue

Now my addiction to mods may carry on...

I think we need a MAA group here...."Mod Adders Anonymous"

*chuckles*

I would suggest meeting with said group down the street. As holding a meeting here would be akin to the AA meetings held across the street from the liquor store here in my town.

Actually, wouldn't holding one here be like holding the AA IN the liquor store?   Grin

We could just make it really evil and hold it here, but make it so members of MAA can't download new mods Tongue  The "look but don't touch" form of addiction treatment -lol-

Personally if you have Diet Dr.Pepper or coffee I'll show up where ever it is.... bring on the Donuts!

Well in that case, let's instate a 3 module minimum and a cover charge!

I can't stand Diet soda, save for Diet Dr. Pepper.  It's the only Diet that actually tastes like soda.

Then again, I like Splenda is the only sugar substitute that tastes decent.  I'd like to see a soda company start using Splenda.

I digress.

A case of soda, and 50 mods!

I don't eat sugar *stop the laughing* so I have tried EVERY diet, unsugared, crap tasting soda/drink/juice I could find and Diet Dr.Pepper is the only one that didn't make me gag. It actually taste better than normal Dr. Pepper to me now cause the regular is so sweet...

and hey, anything is better than Diet Coke or Pepsi *gag*

Oh, I don't know....Pepsi goes fairy well with a small belt of whiskey. *chuckles*

But beyond that, any soda is too sweet for my tastes. Except Sprite for some odd reason. But, I'm odd like that.

I have just

php_value memory_limit "16M"

amd it works perfectly... just make sure your server supports it.
