Enable logdnet in your server config and you should start getting listed there.

Ahhh.. yes.. Didn't exactly know what that was for.. Got it.. Much appreciation.

2 Quickies: In both pre-release 13 & 14 -- the "user bio" function returns an SQL error in both my server and another server (buddies) -- any idea if it's a bug or something we are doing wrong?

Lastly -- in the new pre-release 14 the "ModLocations" module doesn't work (got the most recent version dated the 16th of Feb from Cort's file area) -- is there something special that has to be done other than reinstall etc..?

Thanks!!!
Shannon

You need to go to the user editor and give yourself access to the module.

Well unless you post the error somewhere, I cannot tell you.   Neither central, nor dragoncat servers are experiencing any such error.   If you have already posted the error in another thread, I'll catch it as I continue reading and respond if I have any info. If you haven't, please do so or else I cannot even try to help.

Thanks for the reply Smiley

I'm unable to provide you an error because the locations module does not show up in the grotto / or / game setup (where it previously displayed).

I got my buddy to update his copy too (his is linux) and he says he is having the same problem.  I've uninstalled / reinstalled /reactiveate it to no avail.

Is there some method of trouble shooting the module so that I can provide you with more accurate feedback?

Thanks!
Shannon

I have no explanation.  The modloc module works perfectly fine on central and on dragoncat.net and the logd-beta server.

Are you sure your version didn't become corrupted somehow?

I think [not sure] that shis is the error he is getting. In preferenwhen you click bio, I get this error, as well as my players:

SELECT gentimecount FROM accounts WHERE acctid=

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

No, that error is from the Time Played Counter. Although, I have never had that problem with the mod myself, neither have many others. It may just be the conjuction of the bio link itself, which is contained in the Avatars mod, but I have both on, and nothing really errors.

Line 51 of timeplayed.php:
Code:
$sql = "SELECT gentimecount FROM " . db_prefix("accounts") . " WHERE acctid={$args['acctid']}";
No where in the bio.php, does this SQL call get executed. It is the conjuction of the Avatars and this mod, because perhaps, the avatars mod doesn't properly act as a bio viewer, such as the true bio viewer. Even more, I don't understand why the avatars mod has a bio link in preferences.

Then, you must've edited yet another core file, for whatever reason, I have no idea.

Yeah, i have the same problem, I just got tired of it and got rid of the link.

Deleted:
Code:
addnav("Bio","bio.php?char=".rawurlencode($session['user']['acctid'])."&ret=pprefs.php");
on line 129, in 'avatars.php'....

Hmmm...I have never managed to get the time played counter to work...ever...

It may install and activate - but it doesn't appear to do anything
