Alright.  This really kinda goes against what I believe in but hopefully it will run players away from those who use it to mine Smiley

This is a smiple banner ad placement which uses a single ad to be displayed on all pages.

In all honestly, unless there are bugs with this, it is as far as I am going to support Popup or popunder advertisement.

Not all are bad. The ones (I use popunders) I use on my server show only once per 24 hours and only appear on the main page.

I hopefully will get accepted into Google AdSense and I will add that to my site and possibly remove the popunders (or keep them and have them pop when you die! haha).

Fixed the link.

Still amazed that people would want to put popups on their site.

Oh well... its the funeral of your game.  Let your playerbase know they have alternatives that don't have popups.  Send them my way. Smiley

I hate popups.
I love mozilla.
I hate most adverts.
I don't mind google.
I'm changable.
.........
Wasn't there a motd thing a while back, so that those who blocked popups would see them?

Edit: Found it.

hmmm... i use firefox... i love firefox. however, some websites have begun circumventing the popup/popunder blockers by running a script to detect the browser being used and then overriding that browser's blocking script.  i took a look at the source for a page that sent me a popup and discovered they had even named the script "the war script". how audacious!

i only have one site in my exceptions to block popups, so needless to say, it annoys the hell out of me.

I've encountered this as well in my surfing. Sounds about as obnoxious and irritating as this little exploit they found as well.  Although, that has nothing to do with pop-ups.

But as a general rule, I surf without Javascript on unless absolutely neccessary. Not that I'm paranoid, it's just I find JS as a whole quite annoying.
