Marriage (history log):
  • v1.0:
    • Seems to be Stable
  • v2.0:
    • Combined the module that hooks to the Old Church with the one that creates a Chapel
    • Listing function based upon 'list.php' in the core
    • Spouse Bio Listing Added by Lonny Luberts
  • v2.1:
    • Viewing Spouses in Bios and in Charstats is User-preferenced (Suggested by Sichae)
    • Fixed a Bug when running with Oldchurch (Found by Lonnyl)
  • v2.2:
    • Proposing fixed
    • There are bits of unused code in this module... they look a bit kludgy at the moment, but don't remove it, as it will be fixed for flirting
  • v2.3:
    • Can't remember
  • v2.4:
    • Same-gender marriage search fixed by Lonnyl (I'm sure he'll be using it:P)
  • v2.5:
    • Flirting has been added!
  • v2.6:
    • Flirting has been improved
    • Costs can be implemented
    • You can be divorced for being unfaithful
    • You can lose charm for being unfaithful
    • One drink has been added to the Loveshack

    • Flirts can sometimes fail
    • Inn works better
    • Another drink has been added to the Loveshack
    • Works with the Lovers module

    • The FaQ tells you about the newly-weds list

Well, there are some other marriage scripts, and I do not have the Esoterra mods on my server, so I guess I wouild have to wait until you make your own chapel, so that I would be able to use that.

As well, you should make some form of conjugality list, in order to view those that are wed.

Ok, I've got 3 versions of this..
The one uploaded here, and two on another PC. I'm on a Dialup at the moment, so I can't really do much... I will try and get it finished (it is basically anyway, version 1 (the version here) only hooks to oldchurch, version 2 only hooks to a town, and version 3 does both)

Marriage v2.0:
  • This is a module that allows users to get married.
  • It can hook into the Old Church in the core-module by Sneakabout, or you can create your own chapel to appear in either all villages, or just one..
  • Users must propose to another user.
  • There is now a listing function as well as a search function, based upon list.php
I've tested this extensively.

think you got the little variable swap thing going in this one as was in clan wars.... proposed to my lovely real life wife (user 74)..... and got

Module 74 was not found in the modules directory.

 Shocked I spent ages testing it... then I just looked in 'lib/modules.php'- I should have thought of that....

Edit: Now with biostat addition by lonnyl. Smiley

Ummmmm... and my addition for reporting of who one is married to in the bio... seems to be reporting things wrong.... reports all other players as being married to your spouse..... ack... so much for a quick hack...... Shocked

Will not display correctly against all skins, if any. It should really be:

That defines a Header/Category for navs to follow.

No text is being displayed when one enters the Chapel, only the navs. ^_^

It seems that when one enters, they are put in the op "alone" but alone is never defined... tsk tsk.

I've got both of those bugs fixed in the code I've got at the mo, I just haven't uploaded yet, incorporating Lonnyl's fixes.. Tongue

All these bugs are fixed... I had all but the Bio bug fixed by the time they were reported... you all need eye tests Wink
I can't really talk though... it took me three times to see it...
And all my errors with prefs Shocked
