I just finished converting Santuary into a .0.9.8 module. Everything should be translation ready. Also added several admin definable options. As always, If anyone spots a bug, please let me know!

Thanks!

You have one of the oddest coding ways I have ever seen... but, it does work well. I must say, that I will stick to my clear code. ^_^

Setting things upon their seperate lines, allows one to navigate the code much easier.

Also, you do not need to define the runevent at the bottom. But, I have seen many a forest/graveyard event do the same thing with the run. They don't need to be, but it helps if you plan on doing something with it later.

I like it done that way imo. Its easier to go back and find where your variables etc are.

Maybe I like it because our ways are so similar Tongue

Heh heh.... that's the first time someone's told me I code oddly. I never really thought about it really. My teachers never complained about my code clarity back when I was in school, so I assumed it was quite legible. I must admit though, Sichae, your code is very easy to scan through.

I just flipped through some of your code too, Arune. We do code alike. Heh, it's nice to know that "oddity" has company.  Cheesy

Edit: I realize I don't need the run event at the bottom. The only reason I put it there is for template purposes. Whenever I want to start a new module, I just grab a copy of one of my old ones and gut everything. All the major functions are there if I need them. I guess that goes back to laziness.   Roll Eyes

Thank you.

I guess then that it is just a bonus of being self-taught ^_^ I got kicked from JAVA, because my Math Teachers that I would be switching, do not teach the same way, so I have to take it next year, with C++ and AP JAVA. Fun Fun. I plan to learn those both WAY before I even take the classes.

I'd recommend it. All the other languages I took were pretty easy for me to pick up on, but for some reason C++ slapped me around pretty good. Up until then all of my teachers had pounded GWBasic, Pascal and even some FORTRAN *shudder* into my brain. C++ was a different world for me. I haven't tried JAVA yet, but I've heard that JAVA is easier than C++ to code/learn (bear in mind that the guy who said that was a JAVA programmer. No bias there, nope.  Tongue ).

Updated to version 1.12

Fixed a bug where $blessingcost was being referenced instead of $healingcost when player didn't have enough gold to be healed.

Basically if you didn't have enough money to be healed it reported the price for a blessing instead of healing. Gotta love those copy/paste bugs.   Wink

Download link can be found at the beginning of the thread.

Updated to version 1.13

Replaced "Return to Village" nav with the villagenav() call for better multi-city support.

Updated to version 1.14

Just a minor update. Added a description field to the module to take advantage of the new pop up module descriptions in 1.0.3.

Same download link as above.
