I was just wondering what all you crazy logd server admin do for a living, outside of expanding and improving an already addictive browser game? Tongue

Thought I'd kind of introduce myself, since I havent yet..

Name's Chris, and I'm busy freezin my butt off in toronto canada. Being a webhost, managing a couple small sites, and helping run an online gaming community with my friend. Tongue

*waves and calls violet over to grab a round for everyone* lol

cheers,

- pbw

ps. Good  job on starting up this forum/community Talisman and Strider. Was a great move for furthering logd's developement on the whole. I'm sure everyone appreciates it Wink

Kevin here,
I run my own consulting company, doing work for Xerox - Lexis Nexis and Universities..

Officemax conversions / Citifinance Conversions...

On the road every day, but home every night.

It's interesting, the money isnt horrible and I work when I want. Other than that I'm married, have a little girl and spend every other waking hour when not working or with the family on here =p

JT (please, never Joseph even though it's my given name) here.

I'm a software engineer.  Worked for a small start-up doing network attached storage appliances until about 2 weeks ago.  Left to pursue other interests and so am now looking around for another job.  Should be employed again within a week I'm thinking (Had two interviews, both of which went fabulously, so I'm expecting one or both of them to return with job offers)

I'm Stephen, 17 (will be 18 in a few weeks) and i come from Canberra, Australia!

I've just started a University course at 'Uni of Canberra'. The course is 'Engineering in Software Engineering'. I'm doing it as a full time course over 4 years so i don't have a job.

I do a lot of programming, mostly website stuff but some other stuff as well. (C, VB)
My all time favourite language is original BASIC (WITH the line numbers)

Oh yeah, I'm obsessed with LotR and Tolkien! I can speak some elvish, i have my own staff and cloak and i'm going to a LotR Marathon in a few hours!

Jeromy here in Los Angeles, CA...

I'm a game/tools programmer.  Currently working for Pandemic Studios, current developers of  "Starwars: Battlefront" and "The Full Spectrum Warrior."  Before working at Pandemic I worked for Liquid Entertainment where I did "Lord of The Rings: War of The Ring".... Before that I was a web programmer and Software Engineer for the U.S. Department of the Interior.

In my free time I work on demos and tutorials for programming video games and most recently, writing stuff for LotGD...I've written a new combat system which JT is currently testing and hopefully that as well as some other stuff I have in mind will become public fairly soon.

Cheers! ~Drenac  Cool

reside in san diego, CA, USA

day job, running the networks and telecommunications for a mid-size construction company.

fun job, vice president of exhibits for the largest fan convention in north america, comic-con international.  last year nearly 80,000 fans of sci-fi, animation, comic books, gaming (electronic, paper, rpga, larp), manga, fantasy, toys, and movies converged.  this year, *shudder*, portends to be larger.  www.comic-con.org

Adam, living in Dayton, Ohio. I work at a large global corporation supporting desktops, laptops, and printers. More than a technician job though.  I do web sites on the side. Currently back in college and enjoying time spent with my wife and 3 kids (all 5 and under). Somehow I find time to use the bathroom. lol
