is there a way to code the superuser so u can delete all commentary at once, instead of line by line

You just run it in your DB. I don't remember, but if 97 has the function "Run Raw SQL" you can do it in there.

If you have access to the DB, just run that one query. Or go to the Table "commentary" and hit empty.

There is not a raw sql feature in 0.9.7. It will have to be run directly from a mysql prompt or through your admin panel.
