I have completed two new races.  These are at least somewhat tested in that they install, and you can select the race.  I have no users on my server yet, as it's still in early development.  So they're not 100% tested.  But like I said, you can successfully install them, and select the races to play.

Both of these races require the alignment module to be installed.  Both of these races include two modules, one creates a new city for the race, and the other shares a city with an existing race.  For the Draconis, they can share a city with the Trolls.  Titans can share a city with Humans.

Draconis are half human, half dragons.  They gain power by getting in touch with the baser instincts, by shedding human morality and weakness.

Titans are the opposite.  They are half human, and half deity.  They have the weight of atlas on their shoulders, but gain power as they prove their moral worth.

Please let me know how I might improve these, and what you think.  I hope these work, and that your players enjoy them.
Edit: Current version is 1.3

Updated, new and improved!  Now with Olestra*

Version 1.1 is minty fresh and improves upon translation issues.

Version 1.2 - This is an important bug fix.  I had setrace=titan (and setrace=draconis) instead of setrace=$race in the navs, so the race field was being set improperly, and every other place in the module checks against $race.  Needless to say, if you use these races, then download these updates.

Version 1.3 is here!  I fixed a small bug that was also in racegnome where the city might not be setup properly because of a simple capitalization issue.

I've also updated this both to work with Lonny's version check module.

just a smidgin of critisism

We know the story exists that the dragon is benevolent and misunderstood

so why does the half dragon need to be evil to be strong?

do like the mod tho

The Dragon may be benevolent, but this race isn't.

Ok, Question, is the Titan supposed to be a race for the GOOD aligned?

The buffs work that way but the text is the same as the dracois stating a penalty for being good

Titans are supposed to be good, and the polar opposite of Draconis.  That's why the buffs are the opposite.

If the text suggests they are evil anywhere, I will look for it and correct it.

Again, I apologize it took me so long to respond to this.

I installed this and it works fine... except for when I install the Draconis race I get the white screen with the following text.

Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_align() in /usr/export/www/hosting/furionproduction/lotgd-1.1.0/modules/racedraconis.php on line 98

the solution:

should be reported in the draconis thread, so the file could be updated.
line 97, just add:
Code:
[require_once("modules/alignment/func.php");

Moin,

ok the lines 97-99 in Draconis-File look like:

97   if (is_module_active('alignment')) {
98        $al = get_align();
99   }

the correponding error for Titan File links to line 88
the lines 87-89 in the File look like:

87    if (is_module_active('alignment')) {
88        $al = get_align();
89    }

so I can't figure out how to insert a line as said in the postng above ... looks a little strange to me, while I have to admit I'm not familiar with php, I'm just testing around with this modules ...

[Edit]
sorry, did this posting in German yesterday, now changed it to English

[Edit2]
now I made a copy of the files & just edited a little in them... the lines look now like thgis & it seems to work:

Draconis:
97   require_once("modules/alignment/func.php"); {
98        $al = get_align();
99   }

Titan:
87    require_once("modules/alignment/func.php"); {
88        $al = get_align();
89    }
