is there a list of Finalized mods? meaning, which ones are bugless and ready for implementation.(really a word?) i appologize to all of you who have worked so hard on your mods for i feel like a complete noob and a leecher to boot. I hope(sometime soon) to add a completed module to the public archives. also, any hints/tips on how to write mods. I usually code in C++ on a MUD(Multi User Dimension) Lucienst by name but LORD is where i first started back in the day of BBS and Door games, thought that this was fantastic and had to set one up.
Thank you for your time and contributions.

Let's see... there are:

Core Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Kendaer
Lonny's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=lonnyl
Sichae's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Sichae
Rowne's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Rowne
Dannic's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Dannic
Damien's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Damien
Arune's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=khatfield
Spider's Mods: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Spider

(I know I am missing a bunch more, but these are the lately prominent) Most of the ones in there are bugless... but they are still evolving.

A lot of folk have gone into Core as well, such as Booger, Sneakabout (http://dragonprime.net/index.php?action=viewfiles&user=Sneakabout, He does have some nice election mods), SaucyWench, Deimos.

Most of the others are just freelancers.

Some of us are just punk kids that have a bunch of time on their hands Azn *points to self*

If you didn't understand anything in the above post, don't try to attempt anything suggested.

very cool, thanks, was just noticing that a lot of the posts here seem like they arent really completed mods, more like mods in progress with reports of bugs still found... perhaps the name of this forum should be mod testing zone instead of completed modules? eh... i'll shut my trap till i know more about what i'm talking about... appreciate the list though

Well they are completed mods...But in the same sense these are completed mods on a "Pre-Release" logd. Which until completion will not be bug free, therefore neither will our mods :-)

Especailly since the quite a few had to be updated with the latest Pre-release.

Darn specialties

not sure about other people, but the way I work is that I write and test a module, then once I'm happy I will post it here on dragonprime.  After that someone else usually finds a bug or two, which I'll fix sharpish Smiley

And any updates from then on are either as a result of LotGD being in prerelease, and elements needing to be changed because of core stuff changing, or I will update a module with new additions, such that the old version worked, but the new version does more.

Basically, unless there are bugs in a module that I haven't spotted, what I release is complete.

I vaguely assume that other people work that way too, and if a module isn't complete then they will say so in their posts, or post about it in another part of the forum.

Umm, even once 0.9.8 reaches full release status, there is *NO* gaurentee that there aren't bugs, so.....

If you are looking for 'bugless' modules (or anything) you are destined to be disappointed.

Then I'll have to say this again. I want my money back!  Tongue  Grin
