Best not to ask why I do the things I do.

Clan Bulletins!

Choices of:
  • All Members
  • Leaders
  • Officers
Only accessable by Leaders, unless the check is turned on to have Officers to have access as well. Predisposed Subject line of "Clan Matters".

Cleared up a little redundancy. Same Link.

GAH, Stupid Snow Plow....

Basically, if someone wants to take a look and see how to make it more translation compatable, be my guest.

Alright.  Installed and playing with it.  I get this error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: systemmail() in /home/orpgsco/public_html/logd/modules/bulletin.php on line 75

This happened while making a message to all the members.

Never saw the error when I went through it. Just added in some precautions.

Settings now inside of a title.
require_once("lib/systemmail.php"); has been added to the top of the script.

That seemed to work.

Or I just didn't trigger the part that caused the error.

Either way.  Thanks. Smiley

Updated to 1.2

Now, the nav doesn't show up for Applicants and those without a clan.

Cortal, I shall look into this. Perhaps, a 5 recent clan bulletin listing.

Version 1.3.

Now, with Archiving System. Will display X most recent Bulletins, in descending order.

http://dragonprime.net/users/Sichae/bulletin.zip

As I saw no other way around it, I just created a new table, to hold an infinite amount of entries.

correct me if i am wrong, which i must be for this to go unreported for so long...but...your system mail routine (line 91)is not in a for loop, so only 1 person (the leader) gets the mail....

a suggestion would be to change "add to mailing list" to something more indictive of the user needing to take action, such as "join the mailing list"  or add ME to the mailing list.

Contemplating removing the table, and holding the entries in an objpref. Limitations to that, is that I don't want to have extreme amounts of bulletins, so I would be limiting it to one. If anyone has a better idea, I am open to hear it.

I think that's fine, but maybe make 3 or 5 objprefs, instead of just 1.  no need for table creation.
