Ok...  first attempt here at a new specialist for PR11.

This is an Elementalist.  A little different than Mystical powers.

You can configure it for points and for a certain number of DK's if you want.  Default is 0 for both.

here is the link

http://dragonprime.net/users/Dannic/specialtyelementalistskills.zip

As always.  Let me know if you find any issues with it.

Thanks.

line 216:
Code:
                               apply_buff('el0', array(
                                        "startmsg"=>"You try to attack {badguy} by putting your best thievery skills into practice, but instead, you trip over your feet.",
                                        "rounds"=>1,
                                        "schema"=>"specialtyelementalistskills"
                                ));

I think, you should find a description for the elementalists here, too Tongue

BTW: Your module won't work, as its name exceeds 20 chars (Database limit for modulenames...)

It seems to work ok on mine or I wouldn't have posted it.

Fixed the one part you pointed out though and uploaded.

Thanks.

I had the problem with the long names, when uninstalling the module... Try that... maybe it works now... with pre10 it didn't work Smiley

Did a complete install and uninstall of this several times.  No issues noted with the long name.

Remember, this will not work with PR10 anyway since the specialties are hard coded into it and a module as of PR11.

I upped the length of module names allowed in PR11 because I thought it annoying that I couldn't have 'specialtymysticpower' Smiley and I wanted all the specialties prefixed with specialty so that they were obviously related in the uninstalled modules list.

So his name will work just fine.

And please note, having it 50 is NOT an excuse for anyone to go naming their module

the_most_awesome_and_pow ertful_module_evah or something insane like that.

It's set to what *should* be long enough to express most modules contents in a reasonable space. Smiley

Fixed a math problem with donationspent.  Can't upload it here due to an error.

You can find here temporarily.

Installing this specialty breaks my preferences page. Also happens with the warior specialty. Redownloaded & reinstalled several times, from different computers, no matter which browser I use, it always returns 'server not found'. Nothing in apache's logs either. Deactivating the non-core specialties fixes it

Edit: it's something else. Is there a limit on the number of active modules? 107 active modules = ok, 108 = no prefs ..

I'd write my own modules, but lack the inspiration to do so, though I love to edit & collect templates

increase your memory size in your php config.... I set mine to 64mb max script size...

The module system basically includes all of the modules that are called...
prefs just happens to scan quite a few of them....

Updated to add a book to lonnys castle.  Some other minor fixes as well.

Link is the same as the original post.

Current version is 1.2

If you didn't understand anything in the above post, don't try to attempt anything suggested.
