Ok..  hopefully i'll start getting these things in the right category.

Working on some color changing schemes.   Need to know how I can change the color from `) to `0 without losing the `0.

Currently using the output function it removes the `0 from the string.

`0 is not a colour.

It removes colour codes, reverting to the default colour of the particular skin. In jade, that is a light lichen green. In Yar, I believe it is mid blue.

EDIT: The CSS affects the colours also, depending on where you use them. On some areas, that tag will revert to other colours in the skin.

output shouldn't remove any tags you put in. I think the confusion here is, that  `0 is not actually a colour code. it adds a </span> tag to the output which closes the other colour tags and reverts the text to the page default text colour for that kind of object.

edit: you're too fast saucy =P

ACK! Darnit... I just realised what you meant, Dannic. You want to change dark grey to be `0 instead of `), is that correct?

Personally... it requires sooooo many changes to the core (as we mentioned, `0 closes colour tags, and it is used EVERYWHERE to prevent colour bleed) that I would suggest you forget the idea! =)

surely the simplest way would be to change the skin, so that the default colour in the skin is grey not whatever it is currently?

I was actually looking for light and dark grey at the time Smiley

forgot that '7 was light grey.
