can anyone help me figure out a way to include encounters with random monsters? I'm writing a module where I want to include random fights in 3 separate locations. I was trying to make this random battle in a function, but when I triggered the event, I still get all my custom navs for the module within the fight, so when I'm attacked I can still "return to village" to avoid a fight.. any ideas?

the function is called with a simple modulename_MyRandomEncou nter();

and the line is function modulename_MyRandomEncou nter(){
//etc etc..
}

am I supposed to be returning a value?

I've also tried sticking the entire random encounter code in place of the call to the function, but that does exactly the same thing.

maybe the blocknav(""); would work? Put that in the area when they are fighting and it should keep that nav from showing.
