Ok, I got this idea from Sichae releasing the vampire race and the Halloween name for lotgd.net's bank.  

I thought the vampires needed it in their town....it's not a bank, it's a blood donation center. You can go in and sell your blood for gold coin -hehe- You get just slightly less than the healer charges so people won't use it to make coin, and level 1 users can't use it since they get free healing. You can sell all your blood (takes you to 1 HP) or half your blood Tongue Just a fun way to get some spare coin if you really needed it and to add content to the vampire race's town. Smiley

Hmm...if you really wanted to ge extreme...you could block the bank nav:

Yup, jsut insert that into the donation center and bye bye bank in which ever city it is in...I think:P

Then, it would have just the Donation center...

hehe... need more evil in the vampire town. Maybe I should randomly make it so 1 in 10 chance the donation guy messes up, takes all your blood and kills you Smiley

You could also add in...maybe the donation guy gets mad and jumps over the counter and attacks you...you get intoa  fight.

Look to the dragon.php...on how to set that one up. It would be cool though

IDEAS! wooot! -lol-

You gave me another idea... Now I am going to code a BAR BRAWL! -lol- Random event in the Inn where you bump into someone and they start a fight with you.... or maybe an option in the Inn to start a fight with someone. make him a bit tougher to fight than a normal same level creature and give a bit more gold if you win, and win charm from all the bar people seeing you win Tongue or losing charm if the bar patrons see you lose -lol-

Ok, cleaned up the donation center a bit and uploaded it. Let me know what you think Smiley And let me know if you find any bugs/errors/blatant mistakes.

 I really like this mod and the only thing I can see adding is a check to only allow this to be done once daily. Would you mind adding this? If not would you mind me adding it to the copy I have? Currently I have users that will do this right before each new day. (Which isn't so bad on some servers but when newdays are every 2 hours, they are making good money Smiley)

If your server allows for the New Day link or has frequent new days - you also need to tone down almost every mod and thier rewards, you use. Servers that dont will very quickly become super unbalanced, IF that is a concern of your server....I know, some servers are'nt concerned with game balance but those that are; need to make more and more modifications as each mod added to the realm creates more unbalance. Most mods outside of core distribution contribute to the problem of unbalancing the game in one way or another. Therefore, the more you add - the more you  need to tone down.

Until the core code has in place; code to compensate for a jillion buffs and kazzillion attack/defend points - its up to each admin/server to make adjustsments to the mods they themselves added to unbalance the game.

Feel free to add this as a once a day thing Arune, but once a day is still once every newday so that won't change anything if they are doing it right now before newday to grab extra coin.  You could make it so they can only do once a level or a couple times a DK if you like.


You can change how much they get by changing this:

$cost = ($loglev * ($session['user']['hitpoints']-1)) + ($loglev*9);

and

$cost2 = ($loglev * $half) + ($loglev*9);

Just change the 9 to something lower and they will get less coin.
The lower the number the lower the coin. Make it 5 and they will get about half then they get now and that might help.


My server has newday every 6 hours so I don't see much problem with this mod actually, but feel free to tweek it to fit your server Smiley

I just got a petition regarding a possible exploit in this module.  Copy-pasting below:

I believe I have found a way to get requisition that only depends on time you're willing to spend clicking...

You get your health down to 1 (selling blood) then heal 10%... and sell half of your blood until you get to 2 hp left... then sell full...

That way you get more money then you spent... so basically it's money perpetuum mobile...

Not sure if this is a game feature or a major flaw...

Yes, it does look as though he's correct.  I tested this on my admin character (91 hp) by selling all my blood, healing 10% and then selling all my blood again, and was able to get a 10 Gold profit on each transaction.
I'm not that fussed since hey, it's only 10 Gold and who in their right mind would sit clicking for hours on end when there are forest monsters to be killed for far greater profit.  However, I'm sure someone would be sad/desperate/obsessive enough to do this, so I'm tossing this out there as a bug report.
