Category:  Forest Specials
Worktitle:  strigoitower
Version: 3.06

Additional Modules for full function:
potions.php
Module should function without its installation

Description:
Another "multi-visit" forest special involving at least 6 visits to search through a Vampire's tower, ending with the obvious confrontation with Strigoi the Vampire.

Anyone that has played my "Deck of Many Things" module will see that the Tower card was the inspiration for this module.

After a first look this module looks impressive and interesting...

BUT (this had to come... Wink ) It's not translation-ready...

You have text-output in rawoutput()-calls, which makes the module not sooo useful for non-english servers... (Also putting in HTML into normal output()s makes translation very hard... Sad

Version 3.01

Okay, I kinda by-passed all the funny rawoutput code stuff for translation...

It should really take nothing out of the module; I was experimenting with some new "glow" techniques and the like that won't have a detraction if not utilized.

Here's what I added for a setting:

"translation"=>"Make translation ready for non-English?,bool|0",
"Change to Yes for any Non-English server to use,note",

Please let me know if this won't work.

This needs to be changed the capital GIF or it won't work on a linux server. Wink

Or you could make all the image files all lowercase and chnage it in the files so it wouldn't mess up. Wink

Version 3.02

Okay, I made more changes to the code so it's more translation friendly.  Also, cleaned up the capital letters to the pictures and the code.

is the obliviax supposed to use .7 as the xp loss multiplier?

One of my users became rather upset that he lost 10k xp to a big tree lol.

V3.03

Okay, that wasn't really supposed to cause 70% experience loss... it was supposed to be 7%.  However, I made it a setting so the default is 7 but you can make it anywhere from 1-100%! yay!

Thanks to Arieswind for this update... it includes an optional HoF that you can add.  The default is off, so you will have to turn it on to see the magic.

If you go to the hof for your modules and then return to the village, you automatically get something, ie a vampire fight or an item from the cave.
