The problem is, I also don't have this knowledge, nor concerning the captcha's, nor concerning the lotgd context within it should work. Are there blind programmers out there? I'm not one; I'm blind, but not a programmer, I'm afraid. Best, WW

ah, that's where that stats book is for. Quests aren't available on the other game, unfortunately. I will buy one when I'm logged in =stats book. But I used the notepath for pasting the potion recipes in. I read elsewhere the recipe will appear in a potion book after the potion was brewed correctly. I find this a strange way of thinking. But htanks for the info.  One thing I would note in such a book would be the rumors that lead to a quest, if I asked Elendir where to find a certain seed for the fruit orchard, I could ask it again or have it noted in that automated notebook. That are examples of things I would like to have in that notebook I talked about. Best, WW

I told you about the website that's gone unfortunately, on that site they knew how to do this. But perhaps the rnib or american association for the blind has this info too?

Dear I am playing on 2 websites. On one of them notepath is available. But I suppose this notepath is not available on all sites. Therefore I think an automated notebook would be handy for having in the backpack. Eventually the player has to click on a button (note this down in notebook" or something like that. Why this idea: I asked for rumors to the bar keep in a city, he told me something about going to Mageville to slay a Hydra or something, but the exact rumor I can't remember. When I go back to the same bar keeper he tells me off to go to the city but not what I must look for. A quest is fantastic, certainly when the game remembers the quest. But in every story I read the hero is remembered of the goal of the quest, can ask for help etc. I don't want to ask for help over here, of course not. But I suppose I had to note the info down in the notepath application on the game. But I was not used with that. So, an automated notebook or something like that would be helpfull for games without notepath functionality and for empty-headed players with me, who are constantly getting lost. Just a suggestion. I saw a preference setting concerning easter and april fools day, but I didn't find out it would change the things about different texts. If I see april fools day setting yes or no, and you don't know what would happen after chosing yes or no, this makes things not so distinctive. I e.g. saw a setting that permits me to switch off the music on your website, unfortunately not when logging in, I like sound effects, but not music that makes it difficult to understand the voice of the screenreader, so I switched the music settings. But these settings were distinctive so I could find out what would happen when changing them. But with the holidays settings this isn't so distinctive. I want to celebrate the holidays, but prefer it when the texts remain the same. Talk like a pirate-day e.g. is not my favourite, as all the texts are changed, for naming something. I e.g. like the christmas tree contest and won't miss it. But when I change a setting and that results in missing such event, ... make it distinctive. Best, WW

Nightborn and others, it is even more difficult. A screenreader can't see images, and if it can see images (with no alt-tags) it only shows the word "photo" or "image", nothing more. If someone e.g. posts a photo of a text on facebook (for naming something) I am lucky if I see the word "photo" but I don't see the text. If a captcha asks to click on the vehicle that doesn't fit in the row and you see a boat, a bike, a car and a lorry, (you have to click on the boat in this case) I'll only see photo photo photo photo (if I'm lucky). But an accessible captcha could be: "what's the sum of 5 3 2 and 5?" you have to enter 15; or "which fruit doesn't fit in the row: applee, cherry, peach and abricot" =apple because the seed isn't a stone; or "which animal doesn't fit in the row: "cat, dog, horse and chicken" =chicken: it's not a mammal or has 2 legs. ... audio-challenges are also available, but in that case they have to be handy to use. If I need 10 minutes to solve the issue, and the server logs me out after 10 minutes, my petition won't be sent in easily. Hope this clarifies? Best, WW

it seems this module never got finished nor implemented in many games? I only see the texts being changed on easter day, I don't like this because my native language isn't English and my screenreader pronounces texts in a strange way when they are spelled otherwise. I would prefer a special event during easter holidays e.g. above changing texts on the game on easter day etc. Best, WW

Thanks for the friendly words, TGtarheel. But the frosty thing isn't still solved. I keep on wondering why a player can't help the crying girl when all turns are used and the player still has gold or gems at hand but no turns left. Best, WW

I see. They mostly use Christmas and winter themed modules during winter season. But I find it difficult to see the wood through the trees on this website; if you want to find the most recent versions of certain modules, you have to check on several places: downloads section, "files submission" board on the forums, ... I find it confusing. I'm lucky I don't need to maintain a game myself. Best, WW

Guys, I can't help with coding this thing. But perhaps you also should be aware of the following thing: if you only give a visual challenge as captcha to solve, you will exclude the visually impaired users of your game. They won't be able to send in a petition if only visual challenges are available. Screenreaders won't tell us which animal doesn't fit in the row or which fruit doesn't fit or whatever question we get. In the past I saw a website with a very accessible capthca, but unfortunately this website is gone. On the accessible google group you can reach by using accessible@googlegroups.com I remember I had a discusssion about accessible capthca's some years ago. Perhaps you can find more info about this on the websites of the rnib or American organisations for the blind and perhaps you can ask there how to code them too? Perhaps they also can help you to solve your issues with coding and how to code? Learning is interesting if you know how to learn yourself. But if you have the feeling you are entangled in the web of info or that you can find head nor tail to the animal you're looking at, it is handy to have someone who tells you how to start and how to do it. I'm not sure this will be of any help, but I really hope it does. Best, WW

The last proposal (investment for clan or house or village) was not intended to transfer benefits or stats from alt to main character, but for permitting to empty an alt into clan, house or village and use the experience, gold, gems, charms etc. to the profit of the clan, village or house. But if you permit the investment tool to give some advantage to firstyears or players with 0 dk's, you surely could do this too. In other case: investment can function as a kind of poll: suppose that you as admin are pondering which new functionality you would add in which order, you have several choices but want to give the players the opportunity to decide in which order new functionalities, or locations or whatever you want to add to the game, should be added. Your game e.g. already has the fruit orchard; but suppose you don't have this and you want to know if players want a fruit orchard or a new village, for naming something. You can ask them and use this investment thing to have kind of votes. In this way, alts can invest all their contents into the game and enrich the game and help you decide what to add next, but no benefits are transferred to main characters. Sorry if I repeat things, but I'm not sure I made everything as clearly as I meant to. Best, WW

Thanks for all the replies, opinions, ... What about the following thought: suppose that players could invest in a village or clan by giving everything (experience, gold, gems, ...) they own in their profile to a investing module that generates something for the game, not for the player that invests? Think about the Christmas tree contest, in which you can invest turns, gems and gold  for creating the biggest tree for your clan. But the admin of the game could specify for what the investment should be used at certain periods of the year. One thing that could be created by this investment module could be a library for the village, a new shop or area in the village ... for which the modules already exist on the dragonprime platform; in the last case (new area or shop in village) the investment module functions as a kind of poll system. So players could help to decide the priority of adding selected modules to the game. In the case of the library, it could be a kind of contest for the most beautifull or biggest book case for the clan (like current Christmas tree contest). But I would prefer that the book case or library remains after the contest and nwouldn't disappear (like Christmas tree). In this way, the clan or house is improved by the investment of the players. What about this? Best, WW

Thanks. It's a bit difficult to see the wood for the trees over here. If I look at the download section, I would expect to find the most recent versions of the updates, meanwhile I found out that in "new files" there are the finished modules collected in a kind of list.
