1  Modules, Themes and other customizations for your game / Completed Modules for version 1.x.x / Re: Clan Pyramids on: January 13, 2010, 06:11:39 AM
I'll take a look at both issues later this week.. Hoping I can devote some time in the future to doing some coding Smiley
2  Modules, Themes and other customizations for your game / Completed Modules for version 1.x.x / Re: Clan Forge on: January 13, 2010, 06:09:25 AM
As stated in my intro to the mod

dragonkll limit in place, so players can only buy from the shop, up to 3 x their dk in attack or defense.  Have tried to limit this as much as possible.  Know some won't like it, but some will.  Have fun with it.

So if what you've created is more than 3 times your dk in attack or defense, you can't see it, but others can, who meet that requirement.

anything is possible, if you know how.. I don't have the time atm to look at it.. but it would be a similar instance like bold and italic in the core files. Smiley

simple answer, you don't Smiley

longer answer, by using html

there are no shortcuts like `b or `i for underline in the code

In the opts file you keep using

$session['user']['weapondmg']==5;

that would be why it's not working.. change all the == to = and voila.. it should work.

again, the use of outputs, in those files would have showed you exactly where the errors were.

why don't you use debug? or outputs to test it is setting it, or rather where it's not.. try and track the error that way you can see where it falls over?

There's a stables hook within race code which is what sets your cities usually.  Take a look at the humanrace code, it shows how the stables are added.  To add to each city, you'd need to edit the appropriate races to add the stables.

the hooks are: stabletext and stablelocs

once added, your stables will appear in those cities, until then, they'll only appear in the cities with those hooks active

I have a dragonkill reset on my server, currently disabled, whilst I troubleshoot a minor variable (need the time to do it).  Have had the reset in place since the site started. Not that hard to do, as long as you cover all your bases with what needs to be done.  I have no plans to release this.  Basically, I reset what I wish to, including dragon points, issue a new type of point to show they've passed that final battle point, and they start over with some things on my server being capped per battle point, or opening up with a new battle point.

My gladiator arena's found here: http://dragonprime.net/index.php?topic=5636.0 contain an arenastats table, which would be what has caused the problem if you have previously or are currently running that module, the two tables will clash.

That should explain that error and where it's coming from Smiley

http://www.kalisiin.com isn't a dead server, I have a current link exchange with that one, and the server is still there, and playable.

A useful link to check if a server is down for you, or for everyone, is this http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com (my players find this one helpful if they've had issues getting to the site at times)

12  Modules, Themes and other customizations for your game / Completed Module Listings / Re: Kala's modules on: February 06, 2009, 08:43:46 PM
I am currently unable to support my modules.  Due to other commitments I just do not have the time, along with the fact I'm now running php 5+ and +nb versions of lotgd.  As such, I do not have a site setup to test any problems with them, nor do I have the time, nor space to set one up on my current server.

Amongst my other commitments are:  Working full time, running a home business (in my spare time), 2 blogs and 2 LoTGD sites. Not to mention, I'm also a single mother, so have family commitments as well.

Whilst I will endeavour to help those out with problems, the delays in replying or finding solutions may be weeks or months, depending upon spare time and the ability to do this.

sounds like it isn't retrieving the data.  Right now, I'm unable to devote time to supporting most of my modules.  I'm posting on my module list about this.

Very Nice Joe Smiley
15  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Charm on: January 23, 2009, 09:13:13 PM
When viewing a bio, rather than using
Code:
$session['user']['charm'];
which will show the person viewing the bio's charm

you need to use mysql to return the charm of the person who's bio you're viewing.

something like:

Code:
$char = httpget('char');
$sql = "SELECT acctid FROM ".db_prefix("accounts")." WHERE acctid='$char'";
$res = db_query($sql);
$row = db_fetch_assoc($res);
$charm = $row['charm'];
