Just takes work with Javascript...and that's some fun stuff...
2  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Adding Music to the Landing Page on: January 23, 2016, 11:01:54 AM

Another site had Linkin Park, if I remember correctly. And that would work, as long as there's an option to switch the music off?

Well usually it's just the login page..unless you're creeping on the site, you're just there to login and get past it so pausing shouldn't be an issue. If you might get in trouble for sound, then make sure your music is turned down. Make sure your players know before hand that there will be sound applied to the homepage.

Here's the code we used for the player on Hogwarts Now, the 7I6cJnQQsWc is the video ID which isn't that hard to get so I won't tell you how...just place the red letters with your video ID and you should be good.

Code:
<?php

rawoutput
("<object width=\"0\" height=\"0\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http://www.youtube.com/v/7I6cJnQQsWc&hl=en&fs=1&autoplay=1&loop=1\"></param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"></param><embed src=\"http://www.youtube.com/v/7I6cJnQQsWc&hl=en&fs=1&autoplay=1&loop=1\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"0\" height=\"0\"></embed></object>");

Course this was done back when ads weren't a thing, so idk if ads will enable or not.

It is possible to use a hidden YouTube video. I had this myself on Hogwarts Now..had the Hogwarts Song from Goblet of Fire on the home page.. also did one for Gothmania back in the day, they had Scream from Avenged Sevenfold as their homepage music, lol
4  Modules, Themes and other customizations for your game / Completed Forest, Village and Travel Events for Version 1.x.x / Re: Discussion: Lost Game on: July 16, 2015, 02:32:03 AM
Wow...been almost 5 years since I touched this topic...

Well I've picked it back up to look at it, and using some of your suggestions @Boris735 got the eval() error to disappear.

Marriage pref now used, and it'll only display the spouse lost message if you were actually married before hand.

Now After I hit 'Start Over' it white screens >.<

Also not quite sure how to handle the buffs seeing as buffs is something I haven't really dealt with, aside from apply_buff(); Currently I have it set saving the contents of $session['user']['bufflist'] into a textarea pref (referenced 'bufflist' from user.php) and after that setting the bufflist to be
Code:
<?php
$session
['user']['bufflist'] = "array(0) {}";

I have the updated module attached, but not it's the white screening version so if any have a clue to why it's doing that, I'm all ears.
5  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Very Tough Boss on: February 05, 2015, 01:43:04 PM
I'm referring to the attack, defense, and HP multipliers. Curious if anyone has gone so high that it is possible to still kill, but would be one hell of a battle.
6  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Very Tough Boss on: February 02, 2015, 02:51:48 PM
Curious if there is a good setting for the buffs and such for an enemy to make him damn near impossible to beat. I'm designing something for high level players that will have good rewards if they can beat the creature, but I don't want the creature being so tough that is really is impossible to beat. Any suggestions?
7  Modules, Themes and other customizations for your game / Themes / Re: Inspirational ideas for new or updated themes on: September 24, 2014, 07:45:31 AM
I actually decided to use the Unlock one for the timeout of live chat:

Only issue is, the slider doesn't slide. Even when I plug the JS code right in before the slider elements. Angry

Of course, don't forget those useful little code snippets that are able to tell just what type of platform you're on the site with..that way those slide buttons don't annoy the PC users Tongue I know at one point I was playing with them in the theme development area.. had a module I was fiddling with that changed the template depending on the device. I had a few options, PC, TV, Smart phone, and tablet. Always a way to get things to work, just gotta fiddle with it Smiley

Oh but you KNOW you want a nice new handbag to go with those sexy shoes you bought when you got rich selling offshore pharmaceuticals to those that actually GO to those sex sites!

I think I'll look into your editor anyways, as I was getting ready to implement a new color xD
10  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Black and Blue Highlights on: December 27, 2013, 01:09:50 PM
No, there is seriously is a module. And no offense to Xythen or anything, but I would rather not talk to them...just a personal preference.
11  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Black and Blue Highlights on: December 27, 2013, 09:41:09 AM
I was actually looking at something more user selectable. I have seen a module out there that did it, but do no know where..

13  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Re: Looking to buy a coder! on: December 26, 2013, 10:17:38 AM
Alright. I have something to say to this. You should never come on here, and try to find a coder and expect many good responses from that. When it comes to coding, it is a very unique and interesting task. It is not something you should trust just anyone with. There are very few coders in the LotGD community that I would trust enough to code for me. You should use someone that you trust greatly when it comes to hiring staff or getting people to code for you. I would never EVER offer money to have someone code for me. That could end horribly wrong, and your reputation go right down the drain. Be careful of who you trust. I can suggest ONE coder to you, that may be of great assistance to you.
I concur

The text! For those that can't seem to read the colors. I've touched up colBlack so it's not pure black and easier to read, but people still have issues..
15  Coding Support / Coding Support Desk / Black and Blue Highlights on: December 25, 2013, 06:58:12 PM
I know it can be done, can someone point me in the right direction? >.<
