Title: Mount Effects

I bet most of you are going to see the title of this thread and cringe.  :P

It seems lots of people have questions about mounts, but I've done some searches and read through most of the information available about them here and still have a couple of questions I was hoping someone would be kind enough to answer.

I pretty much understand all of the mount options aside from the few beneath the effects heading. I understand that some are pretty obvious, but  what to put in the boxes next to them isn't. So though I'm not expecting anyone to feed me values I should use, some idea of how to work with the following effects would be appreciated.

Regen:
Minion Count:
Min Badguy Damage:
Max Badguy Damage:
Lifetap: (multiplier)
Damage shield: (multiplier)
Badguy Damage mod: (multiplier)
Badguy Atk mod: (multiplier)
Badguy Def mod: (multiplier)

That's all. As I said I have an idea what some of them actually do (regen for example), but I'd like some advice on the practical application of them.

Hope someone can help.

Those fields map directly to the buff fields.

regen on a mount does the same thing as regen on any other buff.
Similar, minion count, etc.

4 words.  Use the Source Luke.

There are lots of examples of buffs and how they are set up in the code. (as a note there are better instructions/explanations on the 0.9.8 mount editor page too :))
