Title: Lodge Modules?
Post by: TVTx on April 24, 2005, 08:10:03 PM
Does anyone know where I can find some of these modules that they have on the lotdg.net site for people to buy stuff with points at the hunters lodge?

Here is the different things you can buy on their game...
For 200 points, you will get an avatar picture to display on your bio page. You can change it to a different avatar at a later time for 25 additional points.
A custom weapon costs 1000 points for the first change and 250 points for subsequent changes.
A custom armor costs 1000 points for the first change and 250 points for subsequent changes.
One extra forest fight per day for 30 days costs 100 points. You may have up to 5 of these active at a time.
A bottle of Fairy Dust costs 200 points, and can be a little unpredictable.
The ability to visit Golinda, the Lodge Healer costs 50 points per day. Golinda's rates are 50% those of the normal healer.
The cost for ten free stays at the inn is 30 points
A colored name costs 300 points for the first change and 25 points for subsequent changes.
The ability to name your mount (300 points for the first change, 50 points thereafter)
The race: Storm Giant; The Masters of the Hillfolk. This costs 2000 points
The ability to choose a custom in-game title upon reaching 5000 and every 1000 points thereafter. (this doesn't use up those points) [NOTE: A title is the prefix on your name like Farmboy or Page]

Thanks,
~TVT~

avatar.php is in Kendaer's Folder.
customeq.php is in the Core Distribution.
fairydust.php is in the Core Distribution.
inncoupons.php is in the Core Distribution.
Mount Naming: http://dragonprime.net/users/Sichae/mountname.zip
racestorm.php is in the Core Distribution.
titlechange.php is in the Core Distribution.

Hope that helps.

SEEING CLEARLY that this post is under 097 board - it is obvious they want said mods for 097*

The LODGE was never released under 097.

See sixf00t4 Point Parlor as an alternative to the lodge.

As far as I know, no other mods for the Lodge were made - any you do see on 097 sites were written by the site admins and you should contact them for code - they are under no obligation to release 097 code as it is written under a differant license - asking nicely helps OR else you will need to write your own.

*It is also clearly forbidden to convert any 098 code for 097 use without expressed consent from the author.

Seeing clearly that he makes reference to lotgd.net, which has been running 98 code since around august and before.... :P

And he also brings up the notion of modules, which in 97, were called specials. :P

tis not necessarily true. i believe he could have worded his request a bit differently to indicate he was indeed asking for the 1.0.2 lodge mod for the .9.7 version.

from the way his post is worded he simply copied the text from the 1.0.2 version.

i can see why sichae answered as he did.

It wouldn't be the first time someone posted a question in the wrong area.  Some people are like that.  Now, if he had specified the version of the game, that would have helped a lot.   ::)

aye... tis what i meant by saying he should hath worded his request differently. he didst not clearly specify what version of the game he was running, thereby indicating whether or not he had posted in the correct thread.
