I was thinking of a bit of an idea for PvP

Im not sure if Alignment and PvP are linked but for this idea they would be.

Essentially allows for once someone is PKd to hire an assassin (another player) to return the favor.

For a PK the alignment is lowered unless you are under an assassins contract and can only be given a contract (or return the favor yourself if able)w/o penalty If you are slain by another player.

Im not sure how to fully explain what im thinking but mainly a way to make harsher penalties for PKing but not against those who strike back (or get someone else too)

Umm. no, just was half asleep since I've been doing a lot of work and running around at mach 10 :/

In case it wasn't clear, I have no plans, and would actively discourage anyone else from putting it an 'instant retaliation'.  The entire point of bounties is that if people get annoyed enough, they put a bounty on the head of the person, and hope someone is competant enough to collect.  That is as close to inciting vengance as I believe the game needs.
