Title: How to change the limit of number of comments on a page??
Post by: TGTarheel on May 29, 2018, 03:33:11 PM
OK...so as it is right now, the comments do not scroll until there are 25 most-recent comments showing in a town.

How can I make it scroll after only, say, sixteen?

I know it has to be somewhere within commentary.php but I am not seeing it.

I am trying to make everything fit on a page so that players do not have to vertical scroll.

UPDATE:  Never mind, figured it out on my own.

I realized that the dwelling coffers, for example, did not allow for 25 lines.  So I looked at that file, and found what I was looking for that limited tht area to ten comments.

I then found it in village.php where 25 is set and changed it to 15.  Works slick as you want!!

Yes, but helps to know WHERE to look!!  LOL

In my case, I was racking my brains...then realized that the coffers only allowed ten lines of commentary.  So I decided to have a look at the code, and found it.  Then I went back to village.php and found the similar line...just changed my number to what I wanted.
